This material retains the strength and durability of steel but is pliable enough to make bags, boots, or similar objects. As iotum, it can be used in far complex cyphers, artifacts, vehicles, installations, or true automatons. Sometimes metal temporarily molds to the shape of whatever is pressed against it, similar to 21st-century memory foam.
