General Summary

Entered the gallery of Queen Starloscet by having Jal push on the doors, Master Celestra took one of the paintings (a small portrait) along with the frame and placed it in his pack - worth about 20 shins. Both approached the statue in the room and were shot at by eye beams. Celestra managed to dodge, whilst Jal was hit. Jal got a Nat 20 on the intellect defence roll, and thus was given a major effect of having the statue reveal a clue about using the Yellow button for a teleporter in the next room. Jal then attempted to cross the wooden bridge over a chasm of Machinery. The bridge collapsed, but Jal managed to make it back to the side in one piece; however the noise attracted several Cobbled Guardians on the other side of the chasm. One of the cobbled guardians then started spitting acid at the party, before a second guardian started making it's way across the chasm (by climbing down). Jal and Celestra then fled back through the gallery, pursued by the one guardian that had climbed across the chasm, and a second guardian that could fly. The team then closed the iron door behind them, trapping the Cobbled Guardians. They then prepared a trap and allowed the two Cobbled Guardians through. Unbeknownst to the party, one of the Cobbled Guardian's became stuck in the slime and died, but the second attacked them in the Wheel room (which is where the party had set their trap). Once the cobbled guardian was dead, the heroes then found the other Guardian's body and then went back through the gallery. They killed with range weapons one of the Guardian's on the other side that was spitting venom at them, before Jal then spent about 30 minutes killing off each of the guardians from a range. Jal then climbed down into the chasm and salvaged some Numenera, before climbing his way up the other side. He then threw a rope over to help Celestra get across. On the other side they inspected the machinery in the next room, before finding the teleporter. Helped by the statue earlier they knew to press the Yellow button, which then teleported them to a Marble corridoor with a mirror in it.

Rewards Granted

2XP each was awarded for having the Cobbled Guardian's alerted to their presence, and a further 3 XP for using the teleporter. Celestra looted a painting worth 20 shin.
