The End of Worlds

About it

The End of Worlds, as citizens of the dead call it, is a place where the dead drink, tell stories, stay, and sleep. People in here are a mix of gods, peasants, slaves, masters, kings, dukes, kings, and sovereigns alike. It is the most famous meeting point for the dead in all of Nowhere Land. It is the city in which most of the dead stay and sleep, feed and drink, love and long. It is the home of the dead, and where most of them lurk. Its walls are made of skin and bones and a variety of pelts, all adding to the wall as new citizens enter. The whole place itself is a reality storm and all who get caught up in it enter the End of the World, the city of the dead. You can go out of it through the main gate, which will lead you too where the storm is currently set. But while it is a location, it stays true to its name, when this storm comes in cycles to realms other than the land of the dead, it eradicates it, destroys it, and ends it completely. This is Ragnarok, Revelation, and the end of the wheel. It is the end of the world, the city of the dead, and every world's inevitable end.

Notable locations

The Forgotten Library   In it contains the works, stories, and essays written by the dead, or those works and essays in the real world that have been never read or have been forgotten completely to the real world. It also contains the works written in people's dreams. It is a giant library that has no internal logic to it at all and contains a number of books that would dwarf the number of those written by the living.   The Sovereign's Castle   This castle is a castle that can only stay at the End of Worlds, in the city of the dead. Its walls are blood red and interior possesses that of royal quality. It is here the rulers and nobles of the dead stay, some exiting it to visit any of the other locations. This is where the Sovereign, the ruler, and the king of the dead stays and sleeps. The hall of the dead is where the dead have supper   The Duke's Train   It stops by the Viscount's station, a station that appears normal and of the present time. No tickets are required and entry is free. It can travel in and out of The End of Worlds, Nowhere Land, and different realms alike. This is the only way you'll get to a specific location when inside the city. The only mode of transport and the dead come and go in millions, the train is huge and gigantic whose ends cannot be seen.   The Viscount's Station   This place is the station where the Duke's train often stops by. This is a platform of an unknown length, but is humungous, as long as the Duke's Train itself, and like the latter, its ends have never been seen by any of the dead. It is on one of the edges of The End of Worlds.   The Earl's Court   This is where the trials are held. Where criminals are confirmed and made. And the Earl here is the judge of all cases and laws, though the system itself is very vague and chaotic.   The Baron's Inn   This is the bar, tavern, meeting place, whatever you call it, of people who come to drink, sing, and tell stories by the world hearth. Many gods and kings come to drink ale and wine, a frequent visitor who comes a lot is thor who visits from Asgard to the land of the dead.   The Arena   This is where gladiators and warriors compete, where beasts and dragons fight, where many men die and are sent to the dead cemetery, all for the entertainment of the people. People go here when they are bored with everyday affairs.
