The Fran'drul

"Few tales are sung about the beauty of the elves. Plenty are told about their danger, though," -Haken Fourfingers, Thraven Bard

Geography

Hugging the eastern edge of Partum, running along the Argint Coast lies a massive, ancient forest. Spanning hundreds of miles, the Fran'drul is the largest forest on the continent. A number of rivers and tributaries run through the wood, creating areas of bountiful life. The southern edge of the forest connects with the jungles of Thrunn.   Led by Eliyn, the Queen Under the Moon, the elves have keep an iron rule over the forest since time immemorial. Hundreds of thousands of elves call the forest home; following their queen with fanatical devotion.   The Godling Eleanor silently leads her children from the very heart of the woods, sheltering them from the dangers of the world.

Fauna & Flora

Massive, hundred foot tall trees are abundant in the Fran'drul. Skilled elven smiths are able to sing arms and armors from trees whose bark is harder than steel.   Gigantic beasts roam the deep woods: wolves several dozen feet tall, elk the size of elephants. Empowered by the ancient magics of the Godlings, these are a danger to even the elves.
