Northgate

In the age of the gods, gods and goddesses sought power and dominion over the material plane, the eternal war between light and darkness divided the ten gods.   Shinryu, God of the Sun | Mystria, Goddess of Knowledge | Exodeus, God of harmony | Thordan,God of mercy | Eros, Goddess of song   Chaos, God of the Moon| Nemesis, God of time and space | Mercury, God of craft | Rahjin, God of storm | Mars, God of war   These gods were to be the center of order to govern the material plane, a place of paradise. However the seed of conflict sparked a war between light and darkness, the world became a place of imperfection. Gods sent their titans and servants to fight the war for them, resulting in numerous scars upon the face of the world. The gods of light won the righteous war and sealed off the evil gods, each in their individual prisons. It was then a malevolent spawn erupted from this chaos, wishing only to worship darkness of the highest order and consume the world. Vermillion, Lord of Darkness, gathered servants to corrupt the world slowly and threatened to break the shackles binding the evil gods. Fearful for his power, the gods of light woke from their slumber and smited him six times, but he always returned and emerged anew. Eventually he was sealed off, however their interrupted slumber came at the price of an extended rest and so ended the age of gods.   An age of peace began as the inhabitants of the world finally saw time to build anew amongst the remnants of the holy war. However the seeds spread by the darkness continue to linger in the world, biding their time...   The world soon shaped, civilizations and empires formed. Remalgia, Archadia, Koushin, Cal-Verdana and numerous clans of the Kraltarla Wildlands flourished under the age of peace. With the times changing, a new darkness threatens the lands of Northgate and it is here where heroes rise up to gather alliances to their side to fight against this unknown evil.
