You take Echosium and you enhance the magic that resides in the crystal. To create a two-way version of the crystal a mage must link the two crystals magic together.

Access & Availability

While the item itself is fairly common it's mostly used by librarians and mages who use it to record their notes and to have a verbal recount of historical documents. the two-way talking stones are mainly used by military and adventurers.

Complexity

Mostly it's fairly simple you take a piece of Echosium and you get a mage to enhance the magic inside so the crystal can repeat more than one word. It gets more complex with the two way version of the Talking Crystal which requires linking two pieces of Echosium magically, the pieces have to be the same size and weight and roughly the same shape for it to work as intended
