Tiefling

Tieflings, while once rather common throughout most societies have become increasingly rare over the years though no one is really certain why this is. They tend to be shunned by certain members of society due to the common belief of the species origin. Tieflings are most commonly believed to be descended from a group of humans who made a pact with devils to gain supernatural abilities, while others believe that they are genetically descended from interspecies breeding between humans and devils. Some even believe that Tieflings themselves are the basis of the commonly held belief in devils and demons. Regardless, Tieflings have a hard time escaping the association with their infernal ancestors.
