Wampyr

Wampyr are peaceful nomads who subsist on the blood of animals and keep to themselves, more or less, in roving caravans. They are hospitable and friendly but prefer to keep to themselves while traveling the world, save the changelings who they are friends with. They memorize their oral histories and do crafts which produce many talented spellcasters, rogues and tinkerers though few ever get the formal schooling required of wizardry. A few do go off from their family caravan and live amongst others but often for love or a particular group of friends who can protect them. They do not use horses but rather travel on foot and can disappear into the night if need be.
