Ibn Djinn

The Ibn Jinn, hybrid children of the Djinn and humans from the east are rare but powerful beings who put the elemental energy of the Djinn into a mortal form. They take after both parents and often live lives of either wandering adventure or quests for power. Some establish city-states in the southern deserts of the Golden Sea to the southeast of the continent. They are rare in the west and not well known about. They are adept at magic and some do become scholars. These often become teachers of renown in magic universities.
