Personal history
Emre Bruler was born to a human father and orcish mother, both of whom were professors at the Grand University of Iskandar. Emre tired many subjects but struggled to find one he enjoyed. During his youth, he was restless and disliked academics. His parent pushed him to study but he would disappear for months on end to go adventuring. He did finally settle on medical arts after the loss of his friend Yasmin during one adventure when she got an infection and it went septic. He earned his medical doctorate and soon began practicing surgery in Ortileez and Iskandar. He also began biological studies on many cadavers, trying to understand the make up of all types of creatures. This effort gave him a run-in with Indrid Cold who needed his help to find an anti-venom for Basilisk venom. They created one, and together cleared basilisks from a nearby mine. Erme got a taste back for adventuring. He decided to join Indrid in the Folk in Black where he is their biology and medicine expert.
