Alistair, also known as Ali, is the younger of the Janus Twins and a student of Indrid Cold. She is a member of the Folk in Black, acting as a warrior and agent on behalf of the  group especially in regards to planar disturbances. She was found with her brother wandering the woods by Indrid where they reported they were from the future. Their exact origins are unclear but they have adapted to this time more or less and like their new community amidst the Bogeymen. She acts as protector of her younger brother Argyll who in turn helps her to anchor in this time as she will begin to fracture chronically, which can be useful to create copies in combat but can lead to problems otherwise.
