Personal history
Alfie was born to the goddess Freyja by a Fir Bolg man during a rebellion by the Fir Bolg against the Raiders. She aided the rebels who were able to establish a small pocket of independence. Alfie was found on the doorstep of his family one day shortly after. This peace was short-lived as retaliation came soon after leaving Alfie an orphan. His unique parentage came to the attention of a cult who kidnapped and tried to raise Alfie as a tool of their interests. He was too innocent and resilient to become what they wanted. One of his caretakers defected from the cult and smuggled Alfie to safety where she raised him. He would go on to enroll in the Gardarod Imperial University as a Cleric studies student. He found an aptitude for weather magic given to him by his grandfather, Njord since he accidentally went into that line rather than the agricultural magics line he meant to be in. It was found that Njord would possess Alfie in times of crisis which became a hazard, though his teachers did not know it was the god himself. Alfie became a mercenary following this and met Rhys and Brother Tom in Oakhearst where they all teamed up to clear 'the Sunless Citadel. Alfie bonded Rhys, a fellow orphan and innocent soul. Alfie sadly died in the citadel due to a white dragon who attacked Meepo, a kobold Alfie had befriended. Alfie's death broke the faith of Rhys and destroyed the party. His loss led to the formation of the group that would become the Questionably Blessed.
