Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Owing to his Doppelgänger heritage, Ix in his true form has a very slender build with long, lanky limbs.
Body Features
Ix's skin is semi-translucent, and a faint halo of light can be seen around the edges of his body if he is backlit. Similarly, in certain places, like his hands, Ix's bones can be seen in shadow against a bright light.
Facial Features
Ix has large, amber eyes with horizontally-slitted pupils. His eyelids blink from the bottom-up, though it is perhaps more accurate to say that his eyes very literally close up. His nose, mouth, and eyes form and deform as needed.
Physical quirks
In true form, his skin shifts hue and pattern based on strong emotions. Thus, the born deceiver ironically wears his emotions on his sleeve, and everywhere else on his body.
Special abilities
Shapeshifting: Ix can physically replicate the appearance of other humanoids and, with enough time for observation, their mannerisms and voice as well.
Bardic Magic: Ix has the rare ability to sense and manipulate the fabric of reality around him. While this is far too much information for any mortal mind to comprehend, He has managed over time to decipher certain ways of plucking at those threads to produce certain results.
Apparel & Accessories
Ix tends towards sturdy clothing in dark greys and earth tones with a very distinctive red leather frock coat. He has also been known to wear a much more elaborate "fancy" outfit to formal occasions.
Specialized Equipment
Ix wields a pair of simple shortswords in combat, and carries an Elven Draailier with him for music. He has been known to throw a dagger or two, but tries to avoid it because he often forgets to pick them back up.

Personal history
Born in Ylln Thalore as the son of a baker, he lived with his mother until age 12, at which point he fell in with The Blackstone Company, a group that masqueraded as an acting troupe to cover their true activities of sabotage, blackmail, and assassination of the powerful who they felt had abused their station and escaped justice. He was taken under the wing of Reynardine Vas'Sokal who, years later, he had a falling out with.
Determined to find the other, scattered members of the Company, he roamed Almaarea Turma until he heard a lead about one particular member in a town called Vail. This was either bad information, or a deliberate trap, however, as he was abducted there to end up in the possession of The Butcher of Jupiter.

Ix received no formal education as a child. He did, however, receive a fairly extensive tutelage from Reynardine Vas'Sokal in The Blackstone Company, as he would need to be able to blend in at high society events. Ix's level of education perhaps outstrips his slightly-above-average intelligence.
