Body Features

Appears to be a human in his 50's with dark skin (similar to someone of mixed African/Mediterranean descent.)
Appears perpetually dusty, "like pigpen!"

Facial Features

Eyes occasionally glimmer purple and/or green, like facets in a gem. The back of his scalp gradually transitions into a geodic growth of Alexandrite, his namesake mineral.

Special abilities

Has strange form of incantation-based magic which seems to be segmented into elemental categories.

Apparel & Accessories

Al wears a beige Kasaya, with an earthen/forest tone traveler's cloak of some magical nature. He carries a large, 1' diameter/3' length tube on his back that contains, at the least, the scroll that he used to seal the Earth Rift.

Specialized Equipment

Al uses a quarterstaff/walking stick as his weapon.

Personal history

Alexandrite, or Al has he was introduced, is an Earth Genasi who has ventured into Gad Mirrk from his homeland of Baladoria. He describes himself as a "Scholar of the Planes and Nature." He crossed paths with The Usual Suspects in Dest, having been hired by Vorat to investigate why so many weren't coming back from the forest.
Al was instrumental in sealing the rift to the Plane of Earth, and returned to Dest with the party.

Al has claimed that he is journeying around the land, investigating cases of nature gone haywire like in the Dest forest. As the party prepared to leave him, he mentioned that others of his kind were on similar journeys, and they were all going to meet back again in Baladoria at the Red Peaks
