Giant
The giants are thought to have been one of the first inhabitants of Nima, arriving from the frozen lands of Yotunhem to the south. They mostly live in colder climates and therefore the ruins of the first giant kingdoms can be found in the south and actually were the foundation of the Union's most impressive ccities. They are around 20 - 30 feet tall, and their strength matches their height. They are master shipbuilders and were generally more isolated, though they have proven to be incredibly trustworthy companions and friends. Many of the structures within the Union have giant accommodation, due to the Union sharing a border with the giant's Trade Kindom. Though due to their longevity and other factors, they are not many in number. Those who immigrated to the Union prefer the company of humans and elves and have a deep grudge against the Empire for its use of their kin as slaves. Giant slaves are some of the most prized in the Empire for their strength and endurance and are therefore treated quite well by their masters. Though use of slavery has declined with the absorption of the Goblins into the empire, they still do not forget a grudge and some still have relatives in the Empire. The largest population can be found in the Yotnar Trade Kingdom, which is an almost exclusively giant kingdom, with exception to the capital city which bustles with traders from all over, be it the Empire, Union, or other unknown lands.
There are four primary races of giants that comprise the Yotnar Trade Kingdom: Storm Giants, Cloud Giants, Frost Giants, Fire Giants. Other giants that also exist among the land are the Hill giants, a nomadic race of giants who actively chose to keep themselves separate from civilization and prefer to hunt, gather and stick to their more traditional roots. The Stone giants is another race, though at this point, they have largely been assimilated into that of the cloud giants. They are well known for their abilities with craftsmanship and masonry.
