Elrond

Elrond was established as a temporary home for the Dwarven builders of the

Stonemason's Guild during the construction of the Ham'Ru Bridge about sixty years before the Iron Wars. As the enormous structure took close to three decades to finish the Dwarves had started new life's in the human land and most wished to stay after the bridge was done. This is very evident, as the houses of Elrond looks nothing like traditional human architecture and buildings are often carved into the cliffsides. The Dwarven stonemasons who resided the city never ceased their devotion to the stonemason's Guild and kept the practice alive by passing down their ancient techniques to the human folk. Although not that many Dwarfs still calls Elrond their home the guild still holds a tight grasp on the great, beautiful, ever-expanding city.
