Humans

Humans are not particularly interesting themselves, but some of the greatest achievements of history can be attributed to humans and their direct variants. Genetically they have less major defects and are far more adaptable to various environments, part of what allows them to be one of the most prevalent species in the domains. What humans cannot achieve through evolution they will achieve through what we Archivists call "insanus de armento cacas" where they apply every feasible idea they can come up with until something works successfully for them, often times losing more assets than they would have had they just not bothered purely for the sake of saying that they did it. Most humans are considerably rash, possessing a wide spectrum of morality, and being guided purely by emotional urges far more often than other civilized races. even the most sane humans will still take major action only in weeks or months.
Danger Assessment: Class 5.
An unhappy human is dangerous, but when a group of them put their minds together they can achieve almost anything in time.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Humans are a mammalian species and possess all the notable features of such types of creature. However they are fully bipedal, possessing only two appendages for locomotion. The other two appendages are dedicated only two object manipulation, even possessing the rather rare trait of opposable thumbs.

Genetics and Reproduction

As is typical with mammals, humans reproduced by physically interfacing their genitals with that of another member of their species. One member of the parental pair, generally the female member, then carries the embryonic human internally for approximately 9 months until expelling it from their body in a rather stressful manner. In many documented cases the father has left the parental pairing at this point, avoiding all attempts by the mother to re-establish contact. Possibility of evolutionary benefit to this practice is unknown.

Ecology and Habitats

Humans are able to make themselves survive in almost any environment, excluding underwater, non oxygen-nitrogen atmospheres, and hard vacuum. However, they seem to perform best in temperate environments.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Humans are omnivorous creatures capable of consuming just about anything of Levo-Amino chirality, Dextro-Amino chirality foodstuffs however will make them incredibly sick.

Additional Information

Average Intelligence

Throughout their history average human intelligence encompasses the mid-range among comparable species, however they have many extremely exceptional cases on both ends of the spectrum. possessing both some of the top minds in the Domains and some of the worst. A phenomenon we archivists have taken to calling intelligence counterbalancing.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Human sensory capabilities are rather limited, only possessing a visual range of about 380 to about 750 nanometers, and an auditory range of only about 20-20,000 Hz. However many humans commonly possess psychic communication techniques.
