Scream Sheets: NCPD, to Sit and Collect

Incompetence. Ignorance. Injustice. No better words describe the NCPD.
For years the the NCPD has done nothign to stop the increasing crime in Night City. It was not surprising when the well off corprorates decided to start protecting their costly buildings and wares with private security, but now even simple neighborhoods are taking justice into their own hands.
"Yeh, I mean, you have to form a watch or else, whos going to protect you?" The unidentified woman said while brandishing her Minami SMG. The man next to her continued, "Look, we dont like that the HOA now requires every owner to have a firearm and attend the neighborhood watch firearms training, but it is the only way to protect ourselves from scum around here."
"It was 24 minutes before the NCPD showed up to an armed attack in February, and we are only 3 miles from the station." He yelled emphatically. "They're useless. Until they get their shit together. That's why we are taking the tax money and arming ourselves."
The Sandhill neighborhood is not the only one purusing their own defense, nor are they the only one who thinks the NCPD is failing the people.
An anonymous man who has had a case pending before the NCPD for years when asked about his trust of the NCPD noted it best, "They're just another gang, and not even the strongest one!" He completed his statement by spitting on the ground.
As long as the NCPD are sitting on their hands waiting for the retirement checks to roll in while the crime surges, the "Devest, Detax, Defend" movement will only continue to grow in popularity, and will continue to hurt the city and its citizens.
