Elf

Elves are among the common peoples of Nexus. Like the other common peoples, elves' physiology represents a mix of planar influence from the Four Planes which make up Nexus. Elves carry an increased proportion of Fey influence, though the manifestation of this influence is not always immediately obvious to the casual observer.
Elves share the basic shape that is common to other humanoids, the same range of skin tones as humans, and a full range of body types. The most telling physical trait among them is their pointed ears, some of which are barely different from a human's while others have as much as three inches of additional length in the direction of the point. Ear-points of medium length are the most common.
Aside from their ears, elves' Fey-influenced identity mostly manifests in magical traits. Some have a bit of innate spellcasting ability, some are exceptionally attuned to woodland environments, and most have a degree of resilience against mind-affecting magic.
Elves are a bit more long-lived than most mortals. Though they reach physical maturity in their late teens, they pass through adulthood more slowly and can regularly expect to live to a ripe old age of around 110 to 120 years.
