Feminine Financial Monthly, August 107: Excerpt from the Trickery Dalziel interview.
FM: For that one person on Z'hrat that might not be aware of your credentials, Lady Trickery, let me break this down: owner and CEO of Dalziel Corporate, backbone of this city's entertainment industry and of Brimstone's guild itself, and fashion icon who looks stunning and not a day older than sixty. Do I have that right?
TD: You give me too much credit. I wouldn't say backbone. There are others who contribute as well: my esteemed friend Brimstone, of course, and the Gehenna Audiology Workshop.
FM: As a mother of two boys, what would you say to some of our readers who are struggling to balance business and family life?
TD: Let them work alongside you. Let them learn the value of work and money. It's never too early to get a child primed for inheritance, and it's paid dividends for me now that my beloved Fortune is grown and part owner of the corpration.
FM: That's right, I saw the press release. He's opening that new resort on the Lake next summer.
TD: And I couldn't be prouder to see him insert new life into the boardroom. He is a clever, reliable young man, who's made great strides in business and in his personal life. I thought that naming him Fortune might be too big of shoes for a child to fill, but he lives up to it, and he truly is my treasure.
FM: A proud mama! Now, let's pivot for a moment- I've got to bring it up- Amethyst, your younger son.
TD: I can say that without him, quite a few tabloid writers would be out of a job.
FM: He really is the life of the party.
TD: [pause] Like his father. There's a reason I divorced that man.
