Merfolk

Additional Information

Social Structure

Royal Family

At the top is the king, queen and the royal family. They hold most of the authority, and are in charge of the entire kingdom.

Grand Advisor

Next is the grand advisor. They have the second most important role. They can act as a pseudo-king, and sometimes act as a mentor to the royal prince/princess.

Nobles

After them are the nobles. The nobles are in charge of separate districts, and act as the state ruler. They work on more of a personal basis. The nobles can also be referred to as the clan leaders. Each district has an influential clan.

Specialists

Next we have the specialist workers. These are healers, and rune specialists. They do most of the trading with the human world, and the rest of the Arcane world. Healers and traders are extremely important in keeping the kingdom running.

Citizens

After them are the merchants, who trade within the sea, and the rest of the population who are citizens. Citizens can become healers and traders by education.

Slaves

Below them are the slaves. The slaves are apart of a secret district that no one knows about, not even the Royal Family. They are being led by a person who isn't from the sea
Average Physique
Mermaids have tails, which cover around ¾ of their body. Different tail and fin types show the heritage, and status of the individual. The royal-tails belong to the royal family. Lily tails belong to nobles, moonstone tails belong to the healers, and most people have a tsunami tail.
