The Forces

The Forces

The gods in this world are rarely seen, but regularly felt. Known to most as The Forces, they act upon the major aspects of the lives of the people. Most people have their favorite Force, usually relating to their profession. They are rarely if ever personified as a diety, but have been known to communicate in some ways with magic users.

Worship

The Forces are worshiped mainly in temples, located all throughout Obeth. These temples are not a deeply religious space as we would think of a church, but more of a specific place where The Forces and learning about them are the main focus. The Forces are thought to exist everywhere in the world and the temples pay homage to them. Templekeeps live in these temples and offer guidance and insight to those who need it, as well as upkeep on the temple itself. The Templekeeps are well learned in The Forces and can help the people to understand their will.
