Springville (Capital)

SPringville is the capital city of the State of New Hudson. It is located on a small peninsula on the western shores of Lake Hudson. The climate of Springville is very standard, experiencing both warm sunny summers and bitter cold and snowy winters. Their sigil is a red raven with it's wings outstretched. Within the city, there stands the Springkeep castle, restored from the The Storm Era by The Collective. 
The land of Springville was once the site of the Brightburn Kingdom, one of the three major of the land during the The Storm Era. The Brightburn Empire ruled over the western lands for hundreds of years, until they fell with the other rulers in The Great Collapse. After The Great Collapse, most of the outer city was burned and scavenged by orc raiders, but the castle was sealed prior to the collapse, and was not able to be destroyed. When The Collective decided to reclaim the New Hudson region,. they knew securing Springkeep was the key to their first establishment. After securing the castle and the surrounding lands, development began on the new city of Springville and the restoration of the castle to its former glory. After the infrastructure was completed, travelers and merchants of all kinds flocked to the new city. Business and trade flourished nearly immediately in the new city, drawing even more interest from the southern citizens. As more and more establishments were cleared and settled around Lake Hudson, the trade improved even further, making Springville the one-stop-shop for all the resources and innovation New Hudson has to offer. The Springkeep Castle is now the hub of government in New Hudson. The towers once occupying wizards and Kings now hold bureaucrat's offices and long-term file storage. The courtyards and main halls of the castle are open to the public, and the atrium holds farmers markets throughout the growing season.

  The capital city of New Hudson. Massive in size, it was once the main keep for the Kingdom of Brightburn during The Storm Era. Since being established by New Hudson, it has become a travel and trading hub, attracting travelers from all over Obeth. Almost anything someone might need can be found in Springville.
