The Seat of Power

The Seat of Power, or more commonly known as the Throne of Power, is a white chair used by the strongest wizard in humanity's history to fight off Gods and Devils. The throne has four legs, a thin back with long holes, an armrest which is connected only to the front seat and top of the back, it is lightweight, and unlike most thrones, the throne is slightly flexible. It is said to be infused with power and that anyone who sits would gain the power of a god. Although no one has ever confirmed the throne's power, it is rumored to be cursed with the vengeance of it's owner. The curse is rumored to change the user's personality so that it starts to adapt features from the throne's original owner. It is said that overuse of the Throne of Power would turn the user into an exact copy of the original owner's personality. The orginal owner is thought to have a perverse personality, thought to be raising an exotic animal army, as the original owner had an area around him he called a "zoo", which had a large amount of animals in. Currently, the Throne of Power is sealed away with 9th level magic, in hopes that it does not fall into the wrong hands.

History

At the start of the world's creation, God's and Devil's fought for control over Earth. Battles would last for centuries, ruining all the land around and making it inhabitable for others. It took a millennium for the war to come to a resolution, but that resolution was done by a third party: Humans. Humans eventually raised their most powerful wizard who banished Gods and Devils into their respective planes. Eventually, the wizard settled down and died from natural causes, and the Throne of Power was recovered from his grave.
