The Gods of New Aeoch have been quiet since the All-Fire, a terrible calamity that burned the material plane a thousand years ago. Some have recently been re-discovered and are gaining strength through worship. Others are either dead or forgotten, waiting to be remembered. All this time that the gods have been cut off from the material plane, other, darker forces have been plotting on how to make this, the most precious of the planes, their own.
