Reaper

Basic Information

Anatomy

Tall and wiry, with long, powerful legs. Tails are commonly thick and sturdy for balance, and claws are long and durable. Often have wolfish or feline traits, but can take after many different species. Because of this, it is easy to mistake a reaper for a mortal and vice versa.    When under great stress, a reaper's body can shift slightly, with unique features exaggerating and fur darkening in colour. This state is the only fool-proof way to identify a reaper, as their eyes will become cross-pupiled and their mouth and chest will start splitting in two.

Biological Traits

Due to commonly living in harsh areas, Reapers have adapted to have tall, lean bodies, strong claws, and thick, sturdy tails. Their legs are often very flexible and wiry.

Genetics and Reproduction

Are incapable of reproduction due to their unique body structure and unnatural creation. New reapers are formed when there is a use for them, and numbers never decrease.

Growth Rate & Stages

First-generation reapers were created as fully grown adults, due to the urgency of their job. New reapers grow and mature very quickly, and are ready to begin their jobs within mere years of being born.

Ecology and Habitats

Reapers value solitude from other species, and so have adapted to live in deep forests and high mountains.
