The One Flame

The One Flame is something nearly all citizens of Galdorloth hold faith in.  The Flame is as certain as life and death. All lives are embers of the flame, and even if your personal light is extinguished, an ember remains and will return to the One Flame. Specific beliefs related to the Flame vary across the land, but the knowledge of the One Flame in its most basic form is a constant.
One of the most prevalent secondary belief is that stars in the night sky are afterimages of flames that burnt particularly bright during life. Another less popular one is that the sun is a sort of window into viewing the Flame.
