Kingdom of Hyzrayer

The realm of Hyzrayer despite having a violent past has since established itself as the pinnacle of what can be achieved threw selflessness and a desire to elevate all people to something greater, fair and equal. Hyzrayer is the most culturally diverse lands where all races are welcome regardless of prejudice or racial bias. The people of Hyzrayer despite now leading a privileged life have learned from their history that they must always be ready and prepared to defend their lands from the Pale tribes to the west, from the Amydon fleets to the east, and now the cantankerous wood elves to the north.

  Racial Feature
Nearly 200 years have passed since the last major war. Despite this ongoing peace once children reach young adulthood they must spend two years in the service of the empire being trained for combat. You may pick one martial weapon to be proficient in.

      Hyzrayer
The land of Hyzrayer under the guidance of King Gare the Boar is the epitome of what can be accomplished when rulers are just and personal greed at the detriment to ones neighbor our squashed. Despite the birth of the realm teetering on the edge of collapse due to conflict the people of Hyzrayer have known peace for almost 300 years. The nation prides itself on its ability to support its people. Slums are all but non-existant. Any person of Hyzrayerian birth can gain employment with the government in return for a stipend enough to survive on. People of foreign decent are provided the same opportunities and can become citizens after 4 to 8 years of service depending on their life span. Because of this it is not uncommon to see many races represented in the Kingdom.

  A brief history of Hyzrayer
On the younger side of Nations if the Hyzrayerian Empire. Founded by King Haladran Hyzrayer the United after the 7 year war Haladran was able to unite all the major states under one ruler. Under the selfless rulership of King Haladran the now United people prospered and saw rapid advancements and expansion of territories. This rapid expansion so close to the Elven Border of the Iron Elms mixed with illegal logging of their forests for the rare Iron Wood was enough for the Elven people to unite and put down and subject the expansionist threat of the Hyzrayerian. An unlikely alliance and forging of peace would occur in 5617 shortly after the loss of the founding King. Losing their Capitol to a tide of unwashed Orc Tribes united under Barrug Odur the new King Baltast Merriman sued for peace with High Lord Doladihlm, securing peace and uniting the two under a common enemy. The year 5521 would mark the end to the last major conflict of the young nation.

      Government of Hyzrayer
Hyzrayer is an oddity in its form of government. The lords and lady’s vote on a new king when the current King dies or abdicates the throne. At that time the Lord’s and Lady’s gather in the capitol to Elect a new King or Queen. Once a new King or Queen has been selected a new Lord or Lady of their city is chosen by them. The rite of succession is not by blood but by aptitude and ability. At any time should a leader of the Nation, King/Queen included be failing to perform their duties the council exile that ruler and vote in a new one.

  Life in Hyzrayer
Hyzrayer boasts the well-educated commoners of the world. Children are sent to local education establishments from a young age where they are taught to read and write the common tongue as well as advanced maths. When a child reaches their early teenage years schooling is reduced to two days a week and they are then expected to work and hone a craft or skill for the empire. Once their education and their journeyman’s in a craft or trade is complete they are sent away to one of the various military camps to train and serve for two years. After their six month of drill and training they are sent to the far reaches of the Empire to guard the shores from external threat. Those with aptitude and heightened ability are fortunate enough to be deployed to cities to act as the watch or as Roadsmen to keep those travelling safe on their journey.

  Major Cities of Hyzrayer
Haladran: Capitol of Tjebnutjer (Pop:189 000 Human 88%)
Haladran, the largest sitting sitting on the southern tip of the Great Haladrans Lake is home to the King and his court. Haladran oftens plays host and arbitrator to external nations in Conflict looking for a solution. It is not uncommon to see envoy’s from the farthest and most destitute of nations in the Hyzrayerian capitol of Haladran.

Glister: The Forge (pop: 17000 Dwarf 92%)
During the Civil War between Prince Thirmaer and his brother Derfaek Asharm those wishing to not pick sides fled the mountains south to the Rolling Gem Lake(incorrect Dwarven translation, it should be a river). They settled just north of the Lake seeking refuge in Hyzrayer. Queen Abigail of Sea’s Beginning would reach an agreement with the Dwarfs of Glister. They would be given permanent citizenship and a Lord/Lady granting them a seat on the council and in return they would be the primary architects of instruments of War for the Kingdom. Glister is now the bustling capitol of industry Home to many of the realms Guilds and Mercantile establishments.

  Rumors
King Gare the Board is aptly called such because he is a Wereboar.
Lord Machael of Dagger Bend has come under the influence of Demonic possession and is working to shatter the council that governs the King
The holly grave site of the Great Clearing home to the bodies of people of great notoriety in the Great Clearing has been raided and many bodies stolen.
The Gnomes of Tatlan have discovered a way to make objects travel on the Arcane Weave.
