Holme

The land of Holme is inhabited by wandering tribes of some of the most resilient people across all the known lands. While there are few known permanent cities, some tribes have banded together in an attempt to create a port city for coastal trade.
The tribes of Holme take pride in their annual winter great Hunts. Tribes will often compete over the season to see who can slay the biggest beast of great renown with trophies being presented during the first thaw.
Battles between tribes over hunting grounds are a common occurrence and has resulted in the loss of many tribes. Should a tribe lose its leader in combat to another leader, the losing tribe become indentured to the victorious tribe for five years. After five years the people are free to leave or may attempt to prove themselves and join the tribe that held them captive.
