Teovell
Teovell is a kingdom unlike the others on the continent in that its main inhabitants are elves. Whilst elven settlements can be found in other kingdoms, Teovell is run and inhabited by elves.
Long ago, the elves came across the sea to explore new lands, and found an advanced branch of the human species had laid claim to this new continent. Unlike the humans that roamed their homeland, these humans had created civilisation and many technological advancements that their primitive cousins hadn't.
The first elves laid claim to some land in the south east of the continent where their ships had landed, and adapted to the new culture. They began trading rare and valuable items that they had brought with them to forge alliances and to slowly expand their borders.
Teovell is a land criss-crossed by many rivers and lakes, with forests taking advantage of this fertile land to spring up everywhere. The elves use this land to grow a vast quantity of crops each year, and they make a lot of money selling off the excess crops to their allies when winter comes.
The thick forests of Teovell are taken advantage of by smugglers and pirates from the island of Chult. The rocky channel of Smugglers' Run protects their cargo from the larger ships of the Luscanian and Teovellish navies. They land along the woodland coast and use their skills to effectively disappear amongst the trees.

History
The first elves landed on the shores of the continent 600 years ago, and in that time have integrated themselves into the trade routes of the eastern kingdoms. At first there was small resistance to their arrival, as Luscana and Elinar were locked in a territory dispute over the fertile lands. The elves placated them by offering them lucrative trade deals for elven crafted weapons, and technology beyond the humans' understanding.
