The Wilson family's main resource was their influence in the LRRP. They have money from smuggling the gas version of efficientiam. The Wilson family controls the secret police in the LRRP.
History
The first Wilson came late to the planet of Crab but he did not go by Wilson but by Smith. He built a small firm which allowed him to start leaving to the planet of Brass where he had one and only child named Daen Smith who against his father's will joined the revolutionaries. He was sentenced to death for his revolutionary activities but he was snuck out by some of his revolutionary allies.
He came back 4 years later when the revolution was still in dier state and people assumed he died. He took on a new name, Kavin Wilson. He joined a small group and using his quick witted negotiating skills he learned on the run.He managed to secure an agreement a local crime syndicate as well as a group of elites to provide funding and weapons. There he interacted with the Lee family who had who revolutionaries of their own. Robert Lee and Kavin Wilson agreed that a constitutional government would allow the rights of the elites. They continued to help fund and negotiate for the revolution until the end.
After the revolution, he and Robert convinced the newly formed government to adopt a constitutional monarchy. He and Robert were one of the most likely to be selected. In the end they selected Robert as they thought of him as a safer bet as he had a child and underground, he had bribed the selecters with money from his father's company.
In the end though, he was overthrown by Kavin after he himself had a child and brided the executives heads to vote to overthrow him after some disastrous policies. Kavin's secret police caught both Robert and his younger sister Cassandra but Jamie Lee bribed the executive heads of lawyers to support the Lees and they escaped to the side of the TTAMC and ended up signing the treaty of Red Planets on the side of the TTAMC while Kavin signed on behalf of his nation of the LRRP.
Kavin's son, Orwil Wilson, had a successful reign by mining the planets in the LRRP dry of iron to build the LRRP's formidable navy and army which initiated the LRRP's darker future. His son, Daen Wilson, followed his father and together they drained the resources of the planets. Daen died at a young age leaving his son, Jun Wilson who inherited the crown at a young age. He is mostly dominated by his advisors and was a weak king. Under his rule the LRRP is declining but again his father and grandfather depleted the resources of the empire.
