From a ore from the heavens, Efficientiam was brought to the planets. The process of creation of the material is unknown despite its importance in some tools and the modern space engine.

The material of efficientiam is slow to decay, it can be used again after being used.

History & Usage

Discovery

This material was discovered by a group of colonist mining on brass. It was then brought back and started to be used as a decoration and a fuel source when it turned out it could be burned.

Everyday use

It is commonly used in the small generators fueling households and even cities and starships. It too is used in some tools when combined with fluorine.

Refinement

To be turned into its most efficient form, efficientiam needs to be refined by adding water and ozone it also needs to a gaseous form when being refined.

Byproducts & Sideproducts

The unrefined efficientiam is turned into a harmless sticky yellow liquid. Unrefined efficientiam gives off a pleasant smell.

Hazards

It when heated up to 52 degrees spreads out and starts to give out a large amount of energy. The gas is toxic in large amounts.

Environmental Impact

When used as fuel in large amounts, it releases a large amounts of its poisonous gaseous form. This poisons any plants exposed to the gas as well as any animals. It poisons the atmosphere though this is not a problem in space where it will spread out and no longer be poisonous and turn into its gaseous form.

Reusability & Recycling

The gas is toxic when in large amounts and is sometimes used as poison gas on hot planets. It can if cooled turned back into its liquid form but it takes a long time is often seen as unnecessary.

Efficientiam is common in the richer regions of the galaxy. The LRRP used and still is the main provider of efficientiam but supplies are running dry there.

Efficientiam is usually stored in barrels to contain the liquid.

Law & Regulation

In the TTAMC used to regulate that the gas form was not to be used in combat but this changed during the first war beyond the funnel. The confederation has banned the use of the gas form in combat but it is disputed whether the LRRP follows it.
