Harengons were created by Kebis shortly after Lizardfolk. They are the seventh and final of the bestial races created to inhabit Tekoril. They are easily the most widespread of all bestial races and can be found across Mytkora, though they primarily reside in Tekoril and eastern Atheles. They are a joyful, daring race who like a life full of adventure and risks more than anything.
The Spirited Rabbit
Harengons are of about the same height and build as Halflings, but do not resemble Humans in any way. While they are bipedal, their physical features match that of a rabbit. They have long ears and large feet that allow for quick movements. Their hands are extraordinarily dexterous, allowing them to become experts at a variety of crafts much easier than the other races. Their fur can be a variety of colors, from the starkest white to the darkest black and any combination of natural colors in between.
Thrill Seekers
While not all Harengons travel or take up a life of adventuring, all of them find excitement in trying something new. They rarely settle in small villages, preferring the dynamic life in the cities. It is extremely rare for a Harengon to stay in the city they were born in once they reach adulthood. Many travel the world for decades before finally finding a home.
Lovely Company
Harengons have a natural charm and empathy that makes them excellent conversation. They find pleasure in personal connections with friends and family and are not shy to go out of their way to help someone in need. Because of this, they are easily accepted into whatever society they choose to be a part of and are readily hired by merchants or travelers looking for guards or company.
