Half-Orc Traits

Ability Score Increase

You may increase any ability scores of your choosing up to three times, however you may not increase any one ability score more than twice.

Age

Half-orcs mature a little faster than humans, reaching adulthood around age 17. They age noticeably faster and rarely live longer than 75 years.

Size

Half-orcs are somewhat larger and bulkier than humans, and they range from 5 and a half to well over 6 feet tall. Your size is Medium.

Speed

Your base walking speed is 30 feet.

Darkvision

Thanks to your orc blood, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

Onslaught

Upon slaying a creature, you may use a bonus action to make another weapon attack against any creature within range that you can see. If the creature was slain with a spell or cantrip, you may instead choose to cast another cantrip.

Tools of Revelry, Instruments of War

Growing up with mixed blood, you were forced to find a niche of your own and learned a trade early, but that didn't stop you from joining in the celebrations. You gain proficiency in any one tool kit of your choice. Additionally, you gain proficiency in any one musical instrument of your choosing.

You can speak, read, and write Common and Tides.

Subraces

The other half of your bloodline affects your appearance and your natural skills. Choose between Half-Human or Half-Elven.

Half-Human

Your skin tone and physique is mainly Orcish, though there are some lighter or darker hues based on your human genes. Your facial features, hair color, and eyes are mostly human-inherited.

Mortal Will

You gain proficiency in the Endurance skill. Additionally, once per long rest you may choose to reroll a failed saving throw.

Half-Elven

You are more lithe and taller than most orcs, and your hair tends to grow straight and long. You have mostly orcish features, though they are more delicate than normal orcs.

Adept Dexterity

You gain proficiency in the Precision skill. Additionally, all ranged or thrown weapons you wield are treated as if they have 1.5x their normal range.
