Karandor, The City below the Mountain

Karandor, home of the Deep Dwarves, located on the biggest of the six islands of the Northern Isles of Riggard, these dwarves don't live on the surface however, they've dug deep into the earth and carved their city from the stones of the world, thousands of dwarves live here, and their stonework is second to none, their architects are some of the finest in the world. Every house, every street, has been carved from the stone.
For many years the Deep Dwarves had trouble with digging into water and flooding in their tunnels, eventually a clever Dwarf named Tegobar Matie, invented a device that when near water starts to beep rapidly, it can sense it through stone and ore, ever since only a small amount of tunnels have been flooded, and countless lives have been saved.
There's a whole civilization under the ground of Mythra, The main city is called Karandor, while lots of offshoot tunnels to different cities usually prefixed with "Karn" one such place is called Karn Gorz, a bustling trading city between all the different Karns where plenty of travelers from the above world comes to visit to trade their goods and buy from the jewelry the dwarves mine from the deeps.
