Destham

Destham, the only city that is just as awake at night as it is in the day. It hustles and bustles constantly with life, whether the sun is up or down. In the mean streets of downtown, the city's most influential members of business and upper society make their home, attending fancy balls and making more money than the average person sees in their life. Other areas, like the market and historical quarters, are full of the less fortunate but for more cultured and interesting members of the population. Destham is unique in that it is full of all kinds of magical races - it's unusual that so many different creatures would be living so close, but since it's an epicenter for powerful magic most just can't resist. This, inevitably, leads to competition and tension between different races - which is where our story begins.

Destham is run by a human council, which answers to the human government.

History

Desyham was originally founded by fae folk trying to capitalise on the abundance of magic there. It was then taken over by humans, not realising that magic even existed, and was converted seamlessly into a major city, run by the government.
