Sasquatch (Sass-k-watch)
Sasquatches were among the first races of Mytherium created when life was first sown, and they endured the hardships of the ancient past and persisted through to the age of scale and flower, where they rose to prominence.
History before the age of wild magic is shrouded in mystery, but by that age sasquatch's were one of the highest populations on the continent of Vortil. During this age, most sasquatches lived in forested areas and practiced druidic magic, and over the course of the age they developed their druidcraft immensely.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Sasquatches are a bipedal race of humanoid resembling primeapes with long limbs. Their bodies are covered in hair that ranged in length typically staying around 3-5 inches long but varying around the individuals styling. Hair would grow over the entire body besides the face, hands, and feet of a typical sasquatch. Natural hair colours were typically brown, dark green, white, red, black, and yellow. Height and weight range but an average adult was typically 6-10 feet tall weighing 200-600 pounds.
Genetics and Reproduction
Sasquatches reproduce in a typical sexual manner, exact customs vary from place to place on how they do so and how they initiate these acts, but the end result is the same. The sasquatch gestation period is typically about 11 months. The entire process is quite similar to humans other than durations. Sasquatches will reach emotional and physical maturity at around 30 years of age and can live to be up to 500 years old, while usually only living to about 300.

Geographic Origin and Distribution
In the current age of adventure, small groups of sasquatches can be found in many parts of the world, but are originally native to the eastern forests of Vortil. During the age of scale and flower, when they conquered the whole continent of Vortil, it was all their domain.

Born during the age of dawn, sasquatches are one of the oldest races in Mytharia. The population steadily grew from its ashes after the age of lost and became the dominant race in Vortil
