History

200 years ago the tribes of Eladrid were at constant war with each other, each remaining at a similar level of power and influence. But the tribe of the Raging River began to mysteriously grow in power, leaving their territory in the north to rampage across the southern plains, destroying tribes and killing every man, woman, and child. The young warrior, Elador, leader of the Tribe of Storms, received visions of a raging flood covering the entire land and began to send messages to other tribes, advocating for an alliance against the Raging River Tribe. Only one of these messages was returned, from Feradrin, leader of The Tribe of the Bear, who had also received visions of the impending flood. The two tribes began to forge an alliance, fighting back against the Raging River. As the two tribes began to win more battles, more tribes began flocking to them, seeking aid and safety. Eventually the alliance consisted of seven tribes, all under the direction of Elador and Feradrin. Eventually the Raging River was defeated and pushed back to their own territory, but the alliance continued. At first, it was in fear that the Raging River would return, but soon a genuine friendship was forged, and the tribes followed Elador and Feradrin out of loyalty and love. After Elador's death, Feradrin proposed they rename the Seven Tribe Alliance in honor of his friend. Thus, the Elador alliance was formed, and after Feradrin followed his friend the name was changed to Eladrin to honor both men. A successor was chosen from among the seven tribes, and the tribes eventually began to mingle, building permanent settlements along rivers throughout their jointly defended territory, losing their nomadic status over time.

Military

Eladrid's forces are divided into seven divisions, one for each of the seven tribes;   The Claws   The Blackwings   The Redtails   The Horned Helms   The Talons   The Wind Runners   The Renegades   Each group is represented by different armor or weapons, and each division of warriors is made up of varying members. Warriors are often organized into groups of seven, consisting of representatives from each group, symbolizing the unity between tribes.

Religion

Eladrid is made up of seven tribes, each with their own tribal guardian. With the mixing of various tribes, each guardian is represented in almost every town and settlement, though the official Shaman of the region is representative of whichever tribe commands the area.    The Guardians represented in Eladrid are:   The Bear   The Crow   The Fox   The Great Ram   The Hawk   The Mighty Storm   The Stallion
