Tchon

The elusive and ever-moving village of the Namuh people.

Government

The Namuh people are governed by two distinct individuals.
  • Chieftain: The Chieftain is a powerful individual accepted by the community to lead them forward into the life of the physical. Be it man or woman, the Chieftain and their family hold high regard from the Namuh.
  • Shaman: The Shaman are usually found chosen from the beyond as mediums to between the physical and spiritual. Unlike their Chieftain counterparts, the Shaman are forbidden to marry or continue their linage. In fact, both Chieftain and Shaman are said to work so closely together that the Shaman more or less integrates into the family of the Chieftain.

Defences

One could say the Namunian's defensive are quite different than most. Instead of raising walls or towers, the Namunians simply disappear from sight. To achieve this, their village is comprised of nothing more than light tents and a few tools making it incredibly efficient when the need arises to pack everything and move out. Additionally, should they deem it necessary, the Namuh people are quick to abandon whatever they had if it will ensure the safety of their tribe. Afterwards, they will either reclaim their belongings at a later time or, should it be considered too risky, anything they require can be remade with relative ease.

Industry & Trade

Since accepting to communicate with outsiders, the Namunians are still reluctant to trade outside their home Region of Senholdo. That being said, they were surprisingly accepting of utilizing the gemstones as currency though it seems they scarcely utilize it among themselves. Instead, whatever amount of gemstones any individual gathers seems to be added to some sort of communal horde. Truly fascinating.

History

Asking the citizens of Tchon, none could say when exactly this lifestyle began. As far as we all know, the Namunians have lived this way since the rumored exaltation of centuries past.

Architecture

The Namuh people have build all their settlements using nothing but wood and cloth resembling what could be considered tents. According to some reports, it seems the most effective and popular way for a Namuh to set up their residence is to line their structures against a wall and letting the rest be covered by their cloths suspended by wooden stakes. Finally, they do bring light beds which seem to be made from the same cloth bu filled with layers of animal hide.

Geography

The village of Tchon is as unique as the people whom inhabit it. As you may know, the Namuh people are, in a sense, nomadic and so, the village is never rooted in a single location within the land of Senholdo. From what we gathered from them, Tchon moves nearly every day. Furthermore, it was said that the village will inhabit just about any area within the Region.

Natural Resources

Being a nomadic village, Tchon's accessible resource will depend on their current whereabouts.
