Horodros hamlet

As the land lives side by side with the sea, in Horodros hamlet reside both Humans and Lemouillites.

Demographics

For Humans, Horodros hamlet resembles nearly any other Human settlement with raised houses made of wood and stone. Meanwhile, for the Lemouillites, Horodros is special as it the only settlement where they live in homes built above water. These homes are specialized to accommodate their lifestyle of course.

Government

Horodros hamlet is under the rule of the Lemouillite order enforced by the city of Mizunia found to the North-West of the small village. However, in the eyes of the grand city, Horodros holds very little value and so, the citizens of Horodros hamlet live rather unobstructed and fend for themselves.

Industry & Trade

Horodros hamlet is a fishing village. The inhabitants survive by consuming and trading the fish they catch from the sea. Being such a remote settlement, it is true that little trading of goods is ever completed. The people of Horodros could be considered poor by some. In the eyes of the inhabitants of Horodros, they live happily in their independent way of life.

Tourism

For travelers whom desire a quiet retreat to the sea, Horodros offers an excellent option for this desire. Because of this, an Inn was built to take advantage of such travelers. Lastly, a rather minuscule seafood market is also available for visitors. One unique aspect of this market is their cooking service. Since the fish is most likely to spoil days before anyone is able to reach their next destination, the inhabitants of Horodros offer to create a meal with a buyer's selected purchase. This way, they can enjoy their meal at its prime.

Architecture

Human homes: A mix of wood and stone. The structure is made using wood and then covered in a layer of stone. The sea brings strong winds and so, the heavy stone structures are nearly required otherwise the homes may be blown away. Lemouille homes: Built from rocks gathered from the sea, they are shaped like domes. The inside is intentionally flooded so the Lemouillite residents may live without fear of drying up.

Geography

Horodros hamlet is located near the South of the Beaukudo Region along the Horos beachfront. The Human homes are built on the grass covered earth just before the sand as the foundations are much easier to build. The Lemouillite homes are build in the sand next to the Human homes.
