Bibbiten

The hidden eyes and ears of the forest
Also known as the Bibbitonians, they are a reclusive people living deep within the woods of Terra. In the current year, their existence is nearly completely relegated to myths and fairy's tales. This means very little is known about them. The rumors describe them as short, no larger than 80 centimetres and weight as much as a feather pillow. They are believed to have a pair of wings allowing them to fly. This give the credence to more rumors they these are Fairies in of themselves and are referred to as forest fairies, wood fairies or wood sprites. Much like any Fairy, should you be fortunate enough to see one, it is believed to bring good luck.

If the Bibbiten are known for anything, its their amazing camouflage. Having lived in forests all their lives, it is no surprise they have adapted seemingly perfectly to their environment. The few reported sightings touch upon their small stature and mossy green color.

Ecology and Habitats

The most well accepted fact about the Bibbiten is that they live within the forests of Terra. Many believe that the enormous forest of Velorogne in the Cootkatou Region is the primary habitat of the Bibbiten.

Facial characteristics

The closest thing to their face anyone has ever been able to observe is that they seem to wear wooden masks. There are also painted possibly to help them hide among the flora.

Geographic Origin and Distribution

To the South-East lies the Cootkatou Region. In this Region, we have the giant forest known as Velorogne. (Otherwise known as the green horizon or Terra's beard.) Since the entire Region consists mostly of nothing but Velorogne forest, many believe the Bibbiten make their homes somewhere deep within.

Due to their incredible ability to stay out of sight, it is believed that the Bibbiten have a unique biological trait which allows them to change colors to match their surroundings. It is also believed that they move at incredible speeds and have superb sensory abilities.

There exist interesting documents which seem to detail the existence of the Bibbiten. Even if it widely accepted that the Bibbiten are a type of Fairy, these texts elude to the idea that the Bibbiten existed much longer than any records of Fairies.

Average Physique

The average physique is a particularity interesting topic when it comes to the Bibbiten people. While many seem to agree that they are very small creatures, no one seems to be able to agree on the shape of the head, torso and limbs of the Bibbiten. Some say they are completely round, some wager they are angular. Even the number of limbs change from 2 arms and 2 feet to 4 arms and 2 feet or even 8 identical limbs.

Body Tint, Colouring and Marking

Again, the Bibbiten are believed to share the same colors as the forests they live in. However, an interesting theory came about when one individual mentioned the possibility that they may be wearing an attire created to blend in the surrounding areas.
