AF- After the Fall
0 BA- The Gods birthed their Children, who would become the Family Tribes, upon the Mountain top of Isulstad. The Mountain Temples are already constructed upon Isulstad when the Children are born, shaped by the hands of the Gods themselves who dwelt there. The Ten dwelt within their temples at this time, communing daily with their Children, rearing them into fine specimens of human perfection.
1473 BA- Raiders from the outside world attack Isulstad. The Families are awakened to the threats beyond their island.
1500 BA- The Exodus- The Gods sent the Family Tribes out from Isulstad to populate the world with the Wisdom of the Ten. The population of Isulstad at this time is nearing a million people, and though the soil is blessed by the Gods, the strain on the closed community is weighing heavy.
1555 BA- The Kingdom of Bensilot is founded by the Langenberg and Bensel Clans upon the Northwestern Continent. Landing in a land mostly inhabited by beasts and magical creatures, they grew close to their surroundings, finding magics within the wide world previously unknown to them. Fauns and fairies aid them, while dwarves and elves take them in as the new Children of the Gods. They are the First-Born children of the Gods, their initial attempts at cognizant life to inhabit the planet. However, the Children, humans, were the only ones to be made in the shape of the Gods and Goddesses themselves.
3842 BA- The Holy Orders Frouron Protates and the Aristeroi are established. 4237 BA- War breaks out between Telephos and the Children of Nuru, the Lionmen of the Great Desert. This marks the beginning of a long string of civil disquiet and wars lasting until the peace Anaxaneas brings with Unification.
5000 BA- Anaxaneas is born to Axaneas and a beautiful Elvin woman he met in the deep woods – now understood to be the goddess Forstora in disguise. This is the first embodiment of a God in human form by one of the Ten Deities, but it would not be the last, as others have also attempted to manifest themselves. However, we know not their methods or persons.
*1-616 GA- The Golden Age - The 567 years of Anaxaneas life and the following half-century are known as the Golden Age with the Unification of the Kingdoms and the zenith of power for the Gods and Families- other calendars count this time differently but the official Isulstad calendar is the Anaxanean Calendar. During his life, Anaxaneas is able to unite all the Kingdoms under a single banner, now known as The United Empire.
578 GA- Alcumasius, the youngest son of Anaxaneas, went with his armada across the Western Sea to never be seen again. Years later, his colonies on the Western continent sent back reports of a horror unleashed by his army. Then after the Fall of Isulstad, nothing was heard from these far-flung colonists.
602 GA- The Sons of Anaxaneas begin Civil War between the United Empire’s Kingdoms.
0 AF- (would have been 617 GA) - The Betrayal of Typhoon aka The Fall of Isulstad - Isulstad was attacked by Typhoon and the sons of Anaxaneas, and much was destroyed including the Temples to the Ten atop the Holy Mountain. The Fall begins as the Kingdoms of Men fell away from one another.
27 AF- The First Magic War began with the priestly orders of Justice upon Isulstad slaughtered one another, sweeping war across the nations. Magic was used to such deadly effect that millions died in the conflagrations of arcane powers.
45 AF- The end of the First Magic War - A sect of Matia was exiled for heresy from the ranks of the Eyes of Justice. They were sent to the isle of Siri Morl with their Sphinx protectress Pharah. This sect gave rulership to Pharah and have lived in seclusion from the world for millennia.
97 AF- The God of Tricks is beheaded for his crimes in inciting the rebellion of the Sons of Anaxaneas. His body was entombed in Rhodezephyrus and his head was sent to another dimension so that he may never rise to power again.
232 AF- A’Sheeba, demi-goddess of the hunt, was born on the isle of Siri Morl.
381 AF- The Pearl Tower was destroyed by Elandia’s ex-lover, Le Bruke, and the high elves were scattered. The Princesses of the Echoing Hills who were the granddaughters of Elandia, took up residence on the sacred isle of Siri Morl with A’Sheeba under the protection of the Sphinx Queen, Pharah.
442 AF- The Half-Elven Tyrant, grandson to Elandia the High Councilor of the Elves and the human nobleman Le Bruke, rose to dominate much of the Three Continents with wickedness and cruelty.
489 AF- The Dragon King, Herensuge, killed the Half-Elf Tyrant and is granted a colony of humans to live with his people on the Wandering Isle.
588 AF- The human kingdoms turned on the Dragons and destroyed the Wandering Isle, slaying the Dragon King and most of his kin.
596 AF- The Dragon King’s son and his offspring wreaked havoc across the continents until they were defeated. All the Great Dragons were slain but one, Lungroth, who escaped to a far-off place to begin a colony of half-bloods with her human followers.
560 AF- The Second Magic War began with the alliances of man wrought to defeat the Dragons turned on one another. After this, The Family Kingdoms were no longer in close contact with one another. Colonies survived but many ancient capitals were sacked and destroyed. The Ancient Kingdom of Qorong'ilik, in the North East, closed its borders to all outsiders.
598 AF to 856 AF- The Severing- The Gods severed mankind from their power, refusing all magic to them for nearly 300 years, as Typhoon wreaked havoc across the lands unhindered, sending massive tsunamis and hurricanes.
1253 AF- Isulstad is sacked by Vikings from Barbanium whose longboats and fierceness overwhelmed the priestly orders of the city. Afterward, the far-flung Kingdoms began to reconnect on Isulstad. As a religious epicenter and trade hub, they felt obligated to defend the city-isle again.
1301 AF- Obmhann was fashioned a new head by his followers in secret, the head of a great jackal. The God of Tricks was reborn, now known as Obmhann Reheaded. His followers began to practice the forbidden art of Necromancy and plan a resurgence of their God's power.
1309 AF- The Consilium of Isulstad was remade. No longer only a religious center, this remade council of mercantile nature began to meet upon Isulstad every ten years with a great festival taking place every hundred years to celebrate the resilience of the Kingdoms.
1704 AF- The Kingdom of Bensilot was saved from utter ruin by young King Peter and Queen Anna with the aid of their cousins the Langenbergs and Le Bruke’s children.
1708 AF- The Herrodian War began with the death of Merrodan and the Siege of Tetricala.
1709 AF- The Confederacy of Kingdoms is formed by the Consilium of Isulstad, granting military powers of the united forces to Le Bruke and other nobles. Huhber Maximus was granted the title Imperator to serve as the leader of the Confederacy.
1716 AF- The Herrodian War ended with Herrodan’s defeat by the Confederacy of Kingdoms’ Armies on the east coast of Telephos. His fleet was destroyed, and his brother Hexolian was slain. Herrodan disappeared with the Bronze Legion through a portal escaping to the Far Realms and journeying through time and space to find Obmhann’s head to return it to his body.
1718 AF- Huhber Maximus, high seat of the Consilium and Confederacy, died and his children began a civil war between the members of the Confederacy of Kingdoms, many seeking to reforge the United Empire.
1719 AF- The Anarchy of the Seas began, and an era of rampant piracy and disorder grips the Mare'On and Thelune's Gap. The Trade Isles were awash with swaggering swashbucklers and discharged soldiers unwilling to return to their Kingdoms' armies.
1733 AF- The Confederacy of Kingdoms is reunited under the Second Empire by Le Bruke's oldest son, Kral. This ushered in a time of peace and prosperity which caused great advancements in technology.
2300 AF- The Hoards of Doom arrived on the three continents by crossing the ice landbridge in the far south, slaughtering all they come into contact with, wreaking havoc upon all lands, unstoppable in their destruction.
2416 AF- Herrodan returns from the Far Realms with Obmhann’s head, defeating the jackal-headed usurper Obmhann Reheaded, and using his army and the God’s powers to defeat the Hoards of Doom which had spread across the entire globe.
