Mynthica

Magic is a wonder, that's what you will find in Mynthica. Mynthica is a world full of magical creatures and magical people. When people discovered Mynthica they started inhabiting it. They captured and studied wildlife there, always releasing when done. (They didn't want to harm anything) They interacted with the magical people there as well, learning how to survive in this world full of magic. The humans then taught the magical people about technology. They traded and grew together as friends. But soon the king learned of this island and its inhabitants. He wanted the magic the power. He stormed the island taking everything. But the creatures couldn't survive off of the island and died shortly after being taken from it. The island's magic was soon depleted and gone. Years later people built cities on Mynthica and it became a human civilization. With the magic, gone people forgot about it, except for the people who remember a time when the first people came to Mynthica. The only magic left was hidden away in the magical being who hid away from the king. People and magical beings began socializing again and there were cross marriages. Humans born with powers. But when the king found out he took all of the hybrid children. It didn't stop the cross marriages, children were taught to hide their power. With nowhere safe magic wasn't used anymore, or taught. Magic was forgotten again. Legend says that there are still magical beings and magical creatures in the forests. People have avoided the forest for the danger inside. So the legend remains a legend.   There are now cities all over Mynthica as it sits in a time where humans thrive. Its people have forgotten about its history. The few people with powers that remain are controlled by the government, or they hide their abilities. In a time where magic is in stories, little do they know people on Mynthica are the center of these stories.
