Myateir

Also called the City in the Middle, Myateir is the realm in the middle of the Circle of Worlds. This place is home to travellers and wanderers, but also home to mere civilians living out their life. Myateir is a single planet, unlike other realms, but is easily one of the most populated. Some of the well-known cities include Rochdale, the capital, Calora-Dorei, the treetop city, Shadowstone, the mining haven, and Natainia, the underwater kingdom. Almost all people have magical abilities, some much more than others (except maybe if you come from Steelport or Clockward - magic usually doesn't work there). About 60% of the planet is covered in land, but Myateir is at no shortage of water - in fact, there's quite a lot of it (just look at Natainia!). With such an immense number of people with magic abilities, almost anything is possible. Millions of artefacts exist that let us do incredible things. We just have to hope that magic doesn't fall into the wrong hands...
