Quran
Among the loud and sadistic specimens of harpy culture, it's often more startling to see the absense of such qualities in one. It can come off as unnerving. Despite this, Quran is one of such harpies, an older one and mother to the hero Japhet. She's a wise old bird and one that has learned to keep her head down and keep the peace if it means making the people around her happy.
Physical Description
Body Features
Quran is but another specimen of the harpy species. She is a slightly shorter than average harpy with raven black covering most of her body. Her skin is a desaturated blue-ish white, barely noticable underneath the mountain of luscious feathers.
Facial Features
Among harpies, Quran might be described as beautiful. She possesses smooth skin with large eyes like that of a doll, and lips that just barely make themselves known among her features. Down the bridge of her nose is a line of black feathers like the line of a helmet. She has black freckles on the bags of her eyes, an a single mole on her left cheek. The crown jewel are her large, ruby-like eyes that watch ever carefully with slitted pupils.
Physical quirks
Quran doesn't appear to emote much, ever listening and ever watching, further bonding her to the likeness of a doll, but she doesn't appear threatening despite this lack of visible emotion. Additionally, she appears to have a lame wing which she keeps tucked into her side.
Apparel & Accessories
Like many harpies, Quran wears wahtever rags are avalable. Harpies can't be picky about attire, especially when so few fabrics seem to fit them and their unique anatomy.

Education
Quran has been taught by her mentor, and her mentor before her about the history of her clan, of her people and of the outside world and its mysterious. She remembers fearing the outisde and the sky as a chick, but she's grown used to such a feeling. She has much taken up the role of mentor herself among harpies, having been taught in the art of using a sword, a difficult art among their kind, but one that can be learned with effort.
