Maria of Mauler

Lady Maria Mauler (a.k.a. Bloody Mary)

Maria, more well-known as Bloody Mary is a mercenery. A hired warrior that cares not for the law and who she hurts. She was the daughter and the first child of Gustaf, but due to circumstances of her birth she was very weak. When Gustaf contracted the help of a hag, it changed her for the worse, becoming a sadistic little child. Or so the rumors say. She is no longer affiliated with the House of Mauler. Now, she's an irritation to those that come across her, not just because of her profession, but her inability to work with others.

Physical Description

Body Features

Being a mercenary, Mary is covered with muscle. She is a berserker in every sense of the word, with muscles strong enough to swing two-handed weapons with a single hand, however unpractical it may be. Her skin however differs from a normal human, as it's a cherry red, damp and sticky to the touch as if constantly covered with a blood-like mucus.

Facial Features

Maria's face holds a strong resemblence to her father's, with hollowed cheeks and sunken eyes. Her eyes have an apathetic gaze to them, and her lips constantly upturned in a vulgar smirk.

Special abilities

Maria is enjyos pain, and it cannot stop her. She enjoys feeling pain just as much as she enjoys inflicting it.

Apparel & Accessories

Maria wears a long flowy shawl, with small bits of armor here and there. She wears comfortable but breathable leathers, her pair of greataxes on her back. Atop her head is a horned helmet that shows her face.

Mental characteristics

Personal history

Maria was born on the anneversery of Gustaf's curse, or better-known as the day Gustaf killed the last witch of the omenwood. She was born weak and would soon die, and with not even the local priest nor doctor able to help, he contacted the only one that could understand and coutneract the curse of a witch... A hag. A woman known as Aunt Rhody was able to stop the curse from killing the young maria, but it came at a grave cost, turning the child's skin red like blood and eyes most black. From then on, Maria would show herself to be a sadistic child, bullying her younger brother in their youth and getting into trouble, a living devil some might have called her. In her later years, her behavoir didn't improved, and her and her father had an argument, causing her to leave badgerhold and to never look back. Now, she's a mercenary known for wielding a pair of exicutioner axes.

Education

She was never much for learning, but she at least had enough minds to learn how to read and write, even if it was teh bare essentuals. She quickly took a liking to combat, fighting in a way that many woudl call a blind frenzy of swings, unpredictable and unballenced, and leaving herself open to harm just to land a blow. There is no give and take, only slash, slash, slash.

Employment

As a mercenary, she earns decent coin. However being a mercenary as well as who she is, she finds little in the way of pleasent company, not that she minds as she herself is bad company. However she prefers it this way, being alone with no one there to get mad at her, to scold her when she gets hurt.

Accomplishments & Achievements

While her younger brother Axel may be taking it slow, killing only monsters he's able and training, she has gone out of her way to kill any monster she can find, only running when she gets to hurt to fight. She's killed many beast; giant animals, harpies, ogres, centaurs, anything is fair game, coin or not.
