Old Owl's Watch
Purpose / Function
The site's purpose was first a small farming village, then The Battle For Old Owl Watch began, scarring the land, and just recently has been overtaken by nature.
Alterations
The village was used by Dhundrim's 42nd Divison as a hold, and they built a large set of wooden pallisades, leading to the church of the site. The orcs had built a large bomb* to break through the pallisades, and they tunneled under the city, into the catacombs. They blew up the church with an even bigger bomb*, and then the whole town was burned to the ground, leaving only 20 dwarf survivors and 12 orc ones. Later, a necromancer's guild called the Cabal of Calivi-Daz, took up this location to summon the long dead souls. They built a camp

Architecture
Most of the old buildings are ruined, but a few remain. For the church, a stone wall with shingles as roofing. This church is fairly small, around 40 by 30 feet, and covered in mosses and vines. The commoners' homes had wooden walls, thatch roofing, and mud floors.
History
The village was founded by Willis Manybranches, a stout halfling. He built the first houses, and the first farm. He and his wife, Rema Manybranches, named it, Manybranches Ranch. When migrants arrived from the north, they said that orcs had driven them from their home. Thus, they sent a messenger to Dhundarim, to let them know of the news. When they came back, they arrived with Dhundarim's 42nd Divison, as they wanted to eliminate the orcs. They fought with the orcs on the hill, and the battle reportedly started when a dwarf standard bearer blew the horn to signify they were coming. His name was Kruvad Wraithslayer, most called him "Old Owl." That is how the village got it's secondary name. Then, the Cabal of Calivi Daz took it over, and started to revive the bodies, turning the nature that overtook it into blighted forms.
Tourism
No one dares enter the town, for they think it is cursed with sword wraiths of the dwarves who didn't have a good death. This is true.
