Ryzanic greetings

History

Ryzanyc fighting styles emphasize being fast and cunning. The Rezany leaders needed a way of officially greeting people while also showing they had no weapons on them.
After a while more common people started adapting the style of greeting but the rules were more vague and the execution was less rigid.
For soldiers a military salute in the same style was developed.

Execution

• formal: to greet someone in a formal meeting the guest stretches his arms with open hands. The host does the same but with his palms down laying his hands on those of the guest.
• informal: for a more informal greeting the arms are stretched with a short swing and the person greeted answer this in the same way. The swinging looks a little like preparing to give a hug with hand palms held up.
• Military salute: as a salute a soldier holds its upper arms against his body while stretching its forearms with open hands.
