Mental characteristics

Personal history

Ehahzuban has a thousand stories about how they came to be - who can say if any of them are true? Perhaps they really were born when a raccoon played a trick on a mountain so marvelous that the mountain itself blessed the raccoon to turn it into a god. Perhaps they actually stole a bit of power from the stars and ate it so as to gain the stars' secrets. Perhaps they were born the first time someone won a battle through trickery. Perhaps a thousand things happened -- or none of them!

Gender Identity

Addressed with they/them pronouns.

Morality & Philosophy

Ehahzuban is the power present every time a life is saved by total accident - a deer run over a frozen stream and the predator chasing it goes through the ice, or a freak avalanche diverts the course of a flood and saves a village. They are also the power present every time a life is taken by total accident - a foraging bear steals the food pack and a traveler starves, or a mountain climber's rope snaps. Not a particular powerful power, but it is ever-present, just waiting in between moments to change the tide of a war or the course of a day. Not malicious or cruel, not predisposed towards harm, but the touch of chaos is present in even the most well-ordered of things.
