The Western Expanse

The great western expanse is a massive area of plains, with grass green and yellow as far as the eye can see. Much of it is made up by the grass sea, a vast grassland with some rivers and small thickets of shurbs or trees. Here grazes the great bison in their gargatuan herds, the elk and wild horses. This is also where the minotaurs make their home living in the shadows of the hills and wandering ever across the plains. The more west one travels across the plains the rockier it gets, until the great red badlands appear with hills and mountains like blood tipped spears. Far within these canyons and deserts lie a massive crater and far down in its centre a great purple rock which the orcs consider sacred.
At the south eastern side of the expanse the ground turns into a swampland, the home of dangerous reptiles. Some say an ancient civilasation still dwell deep in those watery green swamps, but those who travel there do not return.
The orcs have lived and hunted all across the expanse as long as they can count back their days. Riding on their great bison they put terror in any who dare enter their homelands, which they call Glen Cerdaer, "orc lands". At times the orcs fight the minotaur for territory (both being nomads) or glory. At times the orcs are summoned to their only "city", along the crater beyond the blood hills.
